Akram puts Pakistan in sight of victory

COLOMBO (Reuters): Wasim Akram bowled Pakistan into a winning position in the first test against Sri Lanka on Saturday when he claimed five wickets in a test innings for the 25th time.

Sri Lanka was all bundled out for 123 in its second innings shortly after lunch, setting Pakistani a modest target of 131.

It was 50 for one at tea.
