Jakarta (ANTARA) - Cadets from the Police Academy (Akpol) batches 58, 59, and 60 carried out socialisation activities on safe homecoming and the 110 emergency service for online motorcycle taxi drivers on Jalan Daan Mogot, West Jakarta.

Brigadier Head Cadet Andika Rizky Nugroho stated that this activity was conducted to increase public awareness of the importance of safety during homecoming and to strengthen understanding of access to police services.

“Educating on the importance of safe driving during homecoming, compliance with traffic regulations, and the utilisation of the 110 call centre as a means of complaint or request for assistance from the police,” said Andika in Jakarta on Wednesday (17/3).

Through this activity, said Andika, it is hoped that the public will better understand the importance of maintaining safety during journeys, especially in facing the homecoming flow.

“Then knowing quick access to contact the police if an emergency occurs,” he added.

During the socialisation implementation, the Akpol cadets distributed takjil packages to road users passing through the Daan Mogot area ahead of breaking the fast.
