Jakarta (ANTARA) - Polda Metro Jaya has ensured that the recruitment or admission process for prospective cadets at the Indonesian Police Academy (Akpol) for the 2026 Fiscal Year will proceed transparently.
“The Akpol recruitment is not merely a selection process but a strategic effort to build a professional, integrity-driven, and trusted Indonesian National Police (Polri),” said the Assistant for Human Resources (As SDM) of the National Police Chief, Inspector General of Police Anwar, in an official statement in Jakarta on Monday.
Anwar also stated that all committees are required to implement the BETAH principles, namely Clean, Transparent, Accountable, and Humanistic, while ensuring no room for brokerage practices or proxies.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Human Resources Bureau (Karo SDM) of Polda Metro Jaya, Police Commissioner Muhammad Dwita Kumu Wardana, affirmed the readiness of the Polda Metro Jaya apparatus to oversee all selection stages objectively and professionally.
“We ensure that the Akpol 2026 recruitment process is carried out cleanly, transparently, accountably, and humanistically. No fees are charged, and there is no room for brokers or proxies,” he said.
Therefore, the public is urged not to be easily influenced by parties claiming they can help participants pass the selection for a certain fee.
“Passage is entirely determined by the participants’ abilities in undergoing all selection stages. We advise the public not to believe parties claiming they can ensure passage for participants, as the entire process is conducted objectively, transparently, and accountably,” he added.
