Akishino will study birds in Indonesia

TOKYO (AFP): Prince Akishino, second son of Emperor Akihito
and Empress Michiko, will visit Indonesia next month to study
birds, government officials said yesterday.

During the private Aug.4-14 visit, approved at a cabinet
meeting yesterday, Prince Akishino, 28, will observe birds on the
island of Sumatra. The prince made a similar ornithological
research tour to Indonesia last year.
