Akbar Tanjung attends Eid al-Adha prayer at Golkar DPP office using wheelchair

Former Golkar Party chairman Akbar Tanjung attended Eid al-Adha prayer at Masjid Syajaratun Thayyibah, Golkar DPP office in Slipi, West Jakarta, on Wednesday morning, 27 May 2026. Akbar was seen using a wheelchair during the prayer. He wore all-white clothing with a black songkok. Also present was Golkar politician Wihaji, who serves as the Minister of Population and Family Development. Other notable attendees included Ali Mochtar Ngabalin. The Eid al-Adha prayer at Masjid Syajaratun Thayyibah was also attended by local residents and Golkar party cadres. Several sacrificial animals were seen outside the mosque to be slaughtered after the prayer.
