Ajaib Strengthens Pension Fund Education Through BPJS Ketenagakerjaan's PEKA Programme
Ajaib is supporting the government’s efforts to strengthen the economic independence of the public through its participation in the inauguration of the Economic Empowerment and Independence of Beneficiaries Programme (PEKA), organised by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. The programme is carried out as an effort to improve literacy regarding pension funds.
The event, which took place in Bandung on Tuesday, 18 August 2026, was officially inaugurated by the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia, Yassierli. The PEKA programme was attended nationally by 1,426 beneficiaries at 45 locations across Indonesia.
Ajaib also supported the implementation of financial education by presenting two financial experts, Ratih Mustikoningsih and Miftahul Khaer. They delivered material on the realities of pension funds, building a mindset as a long-term investor, and developing strategies for adjusting investment risk according to age towards retirement.
This education aims to help participants understand that the Old Age Security (JHT) and Pension Security (JP) benefits are an important foundation in preparing for their financial future, which needs to be complemented with measurable financial planning so that welfare can be maintained in the long term.
In this education session, Ajaib invited participants to build the mindset that pension fund planning is not merely focused on potential returns, but rather on building consistent, disciplined financial habits that are in line with each individual’s risk profile, needs and goals. Through this approach, participants are expected to be able to make more measured and sustainability-oriented financial decisions, so that the benefits received today can become provisions for improving the quality of life in the future.
“We see how the benefits received by these participants can become productive. Therefore, through PEKA we want to encourage a shift from consumptive to productive behaviour, and from receiving benefits to having power, and ultimately becoming independent. To support this goal, mentoring and provision are important,” said Saiful Hidayat in a written statement on Tuesday (25/8/2026).
In its implementation, the financial planning and pension fund education presented by Ajaib is one form of the intended mentoring, helping beneficiaries manage the benefits received more productively and sustainably.
In line with this, Ajaib’s President Director Juliana stated the importance of financial education for PEKA beneficiaries.
Ajaib hopes that this education can be applied consistently by beneficiaries, in line with the spirit of the PEKA Programme in encouraging a shift from consumptive to productive behaviour towards long-term economic independence.
“We believe that economic independence is not only about earning income again but also about having the confidence to manage that income wisely so that it can become a long-term benefit. For us, involvement in the PEKA Programme is part of Ajaib’s commitment to helping beneficiaries prepare for long-term financial readiness while supporting government initiatives that directly touch the needs of the public,” she concluded.
