Ajaib Highlights Importance of Investment Risk Management for JHT and JP Beneficiaries
Digital investment platform Ajaib has demonstrated its active commitment to strengthening financial literacy and economic self-reliance among the public. Ajaib participated fully in the launch of the Economic Empowerment and Independence for Beneficiaries Programme (PEKA) organised by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in Bandung, West Java, on Tuesday (18/8/2026).
The national-level event was officially inaugurated by Manpower Minister Yassierli. Overall, the PEKA Programme was implemented simultaneously to mentor 1,426 beneficiaries spread across 45 locations in Indonesia.
In this initiative, Ajaib provided financial education mentoring by presenting two financial planning experts, Ratih Mustikoningsih and Miftahul Khaer. The training examined the reality of pension funds, the importance of building a long-term investor mindset, and strategies for adjusting investment risk profiles as one approaches retirement.
The education aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding that the disbursement of the Old Age Security (JHT) and Pension Security (JP) programmes from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan serves as the initial foundation for financial sustainability. However, these disbursed funds need to be managed with measured investment planning so that the quality of life of members is maintained in old age.
Ajaib emphasised that pension fund planning is not merely about pursuing high returns, but rather about building consistent financial discipline tailored to individual risk profiles and needs.
BPJS Ketenagakerjaan President Director Saiful Hidayat explained that the PEKA programme was designed so that claim funds received by workers are not exhausted on short-term consumptive needs.
“Through PEKA, we want to encourage a shift in public behaviour from consumptive to productive, and from merely receiving benefits to having capability and becoming financially independent. The mentoring and financial management training from Ajaib is an important instrument to achieve this,” Saiful explained in an official statement.
In line with this, Ajaib President Director Juliana affirmed that the economic independence of the public is determined not only by the ability to earn income again, but also by the courage and skill to manage funds wisely.
“For us, involvement in the PEKA Programme is part of Ajaib’s commitment to helping beneficiaries prepare for long-term financial readiness while supporting government initiatives that directly touch the basic needs of the public,” said Juliana.
Through this continuous mentoring, Ajaib hopes that participants will be able to make independent and measured investment decisions in the capital market, while optimising employment social security benefits into sustainable productive business capital.
