AirNav Indonesia Promotes MSME Empowerment and Free Homecoming Travel for Eid
AirNav Indonesia is implementing a comprehensive range of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental programmes throughout Ramadan and in the lead-up to Eid al-Fitr 1447 AH. The initiatives extend beyond traditional charitable activities to strengthen community economic empowerment and foster social awareness within the company.
Hermana Soegijantoro, Executive Vice President of Corporate Secretary at AirNav Indonesia, explained that the series of activities represents the company’s commitment to delivering impactful and sustainable CSR programmes for communities.
“AirNav Indonesia endeavours to ensure that CSR programmes are not merely ceremonial in nature, but rather deliver tangible benefits to communities whilst nurturing a spirit of empathy and social responsibility amongst employees,” said Hermana in Tangerang, Banten, on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.
One of the principal initiatives is the AirNav Indonesia Ramadan Safari, which this year will take place across 18 branch offices and branch support offices spanning from Aceh to Merauke.
Unlike previous years, which emphasised direct assistance-based social activities, this year’s Ramadan Safari also focuses on promoting economic empowerment within communities, particularly through support for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) supervised by mosque bodies or mosque welfare councils in each operational region.
As part of the Ramadan Safari, AirNav Indonesia is also channelling humanitarian assistance to communities affected by flash flooding in Aceh Tamiang, Aceh Province, which occurred in December 2025. This assistance is intended to support post-disaster recovery efforts.
Furthermore, ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 AH, AirNav Indonesia is participating in the State-Owned Enterprises Joint Homecoming Programme 2026 by providing 4,000 free rail travel tickets for homecoming journeys and returns. The programme targets communities travelling to four destination cities: Yogyakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, and Malang.
Internally, AirNav Indonesia is also observing the commemoration of Nuzulul Qur’an 1447 AH with religious study sessions for all employees. During this occasion, the company is distributing 500 Eid gift packages to children and orphans supported by the mosque welfare council of AirNav Indonesia’s mosque, as well as contracted workers who support company operations.
Hermana added that all CSR Ramadan activities are being implemented in an integrated manner, involving various work units within AirNav Indonesia.
“Through these various initiatives, we hope that AirNav Indonesia will continue to make a positive contribution to communities whilst strengthening the values of togetherness and social responsibility,” she said.
