AirNav Distributes 4,000 Free Travel Tickets and Supports SMEs in Ramadan Programme
AirNav Indonesia is implementing a corporate social responsibility and environmental programme (TJSL) during the holy month of Ramadan through to Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri. This year, AirNav is distributing 4,000 free homecoming travel tickets.
Hermana Soegijantoro, Executive Vice President of Corporate Secretary at AirNav Indonesia, stated that the programme extends beyond charitable distribution, aiming to strengthen economic empowerment of communities and increase social responsibility awareness within the company. He explained that the series of activities represents part of the company’s commitment to delivering impactful and sustainable corporate social responsibility programmes for society.
“AirNav Indonesia endeavours to ensure that our corporate social responsibility programmes are not merely ceremonial, but also provide tangible benefits to society whilst fostering a spirit of empathy and social awareness amongst employees,” Hermana told reporters on Thursday (12 March 2026).
One key activity is AirNav Indonesia’s Ramadan Safari, held this year across 18 branch and sub-branch offices spanning from Aceh to Merauke. This year’s Ramadan Safari aims to promote economic empowerment of communities, particularly through support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) affiliated with mosques or Mosque Welfare Councils (DKM) in each activity region.
As part of the Ramadan Safari, AirNav Indonesia is also channelling humanitarian assistance to communities affected by flash flooding in Aceh Tamiang, Aceh Province, which occurred in December 2025. This assistance is expected to support the community recovery process following the disaster.
Additionally, ahead of Eid, AirNav Indonesia is participating in the 2026 Joint Homecoming Programme for State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) by providing 4,000 free travel tickets for homecoming and return journeys using railway transport. The programme is available to communities travelling to several destination cities, namely Yogyakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, and Malang.
On the internal company front, AirNav Indonesia is also commemorating the commemoration of Nuzululqur’an 1447 Hijri with religious study sessions for all employees. The company is distributing 500 Eid gift packages to orphans supported by the AirNav Indonesia Mosque Welfare Council and contracted workers who support company operations.
Hermana stated that all elements of the Ramadan corporate social responsibility activities are being implemented in an integrated manner, involving various work units across AirNav Indonesia.
“Through these various activities, we hope AirNav Indonesia can continue to make positive contributions to society whilst strengthening values of togetherness and social responsibility,” he concluded.
