Airlangga Reveals Budget Format and Board Structure for PT DSI

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto revealed the outcomes of the BPI Danantara supervisory board meeting held on Thursday (6/8/2026). One of the key discussions involved the budget format and the composition of the board of commissioners and directors for PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI). “The BPI Danantara supervisory board meeting discussed the budget format and the commissioner-director format for PT DSI; it is still in process,” Airlangga stated when met by journalists at Wisma Danantara on Thursday (6/8/2026). However, Airlangga could not confirm when the board of commissioners and directors of DSI would be announced, noting that this falls under Danantara’s authority. “There has been no announcement regarding the commissioners and directors of PT DSI; Danantara will announce it in due course,” he explained. Danantara is currently finalising the establishment of PT DSI’s management. The entity is a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) designated for the export of strategic natural resource commodities. Danantara’s Chief Operating Officer, Dony Oskaria, previously stated that the organisation plans to announce the names of PT DSI’s management team in the near future. He noted that a rigorous selection process for the human resources who will join PT DSI is currently underway. “We are also conducting a strict selection process for the human resources who will join Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia. This process is ongoing, and God willing, next week several more names will be announced by Danantara as part of the team,” Dony said during a press conference on Sunday (31/5/2026). Dony emphasised that the formation of DSI represents a significant mandate entrusted to Danantara to ensure that Indonesia’s natural resources provide maximum benefits for the nation and its people.
