Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto led an inter-ministerial/institutional coordination meeting virtually via Zoom yesterday. The agenda was known from a post on the Cabinet Secretariat’s Instagram account, quoted by CNBC Indonesia on Wednesday (25/3/2026).
Attending the meeting were Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani, as well as Minister of Basic and Secondary Education Abdul Mu’ti, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
“The meeting discussed several policy plans related to adjustments in the energy sector to maintain economic stability and sustainability, as well as some economic stimulus policy plans. In the meeting, various strategic views were conveyed as considerations in policy formulation,” wrote @sekretariat.kabinet.
Addressing recent dynamics, the government is indeed refining a number of policies. One of them is the implementation of working from home, or WFH, one day per week for several business sectors. There are special criteria for business sectors that cannot implement WFH, including those directly involved in public services.
“This applies to civil servants (ASN) and also as a recommendation for the private sector, especially those not related to public services,” Airlangga said some time ago.
