Jakarta - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said that businesspeople gave a positive response to the government’s policy of one-stop export through PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI). The policy will be rolled out via DSI. He announced this after meeting with business actors during a socialisation of the strategic natural resources export policy at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs’ office in Jakarta on Thursday, 21 May 2026. According to Airlangga, entrepreneurs appreciate the government’s move to optimise commodity prices and strengthen Indonesia’s bargaining position in the global market. “The response is relatively positive and they appreciate especially that the aim is to optimise prices and also so that Indonesia’s leverage in commodity trade becomes stronger,” he said at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Jakarta, on Thursday, 21 May 2026. The three commodities include crude palm oil (CPO), coal, and ferro alloys. Airlangga also emphasised that the government is not obliged to discuss the policy with partner countries. He said that the management of domestic natural resources is Indonesia’s right. “This is Indonesia’s right. So if it’s Indonesia’s right, then we will implement it,” he said. The one-stop export policy will begin on 1 June 2026 as the initial phase. Full implementation is targeted to run on 1 January 2027. Airlangga explained that exporters can still carry out export activities as usual during the first three months of implementation because trade data are already available in the National Single Window system. The data include exporters’ identities, owners of goods, and importers who are already registered in the customs system. This data will be added to the DSI system. “The data already available in Customs through the National Single Window will be integrated into the DSI system,” Airlangga said.
