Air India offers Hyderabad stopover

JAKARTA: Air India announced it had provided a flight from
Jakarta to Andhra Pradesh's capital of Hyderabad.

Previously, Air India's flight from Jakarta goes to Bombay
without a stopover in Hyderabad.

The new service started as of April 1, the airliner said in a
press release on Thursday.

The new service was launched, in order to boost tourism in the
region, the release said.

The flights from Jakarta now depart at 10.55 a.m every
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with a stopover in Singapore.

Hyderabad has been dubbed of having the atmosphere of an
Arabian Night fairy tale, besides its status as an India's center
for Information Technology. -- JP
