Air Defense has new chief

JAKARTA (JP): Col. Supardi, commander of Regiment I Falatehan
at the City Military Command has installed Maj. Heru Wibowo as
new chief of the Air Defense Detachment.

The handing-over ceremony took place last Thursday in Jakarta,
Col. Didi Supandi, spokesman for the City Military Command said
yesterday.

Heru, who was a teacher for the artillery armory training
center in Malang, East Java, replaces Maj. Muhidin Ishak.

Col. Supardi has asked the Air Defense Detachment members to
be alert especially in securing the capital city. (sur)
