Air counter for military
JAKARTA (JP): The national flag carrier Garuda Indonesia yesterday opened a sales counter at the Armed Forces Headquarters in Cilangkap, East Jakarta, to improve the airline's reservation services to the forces' members.
An agreement on the counter opening was signed yesterday by the deputy navy chief for personnel affairs, Moch. Sochid, and Garuda's director for commercial affairs, Kussuyono.
Kussuyono said the new counter will be equipped with a reservation check-in desk.
To date the airline has five city check-in counters -- at Hotel Indonesia, Borobudur Intercontinental Hotel, Dharmala Building, International Trade Center (ITC) and Bank Dagang Negara's headquarters building. (fhp)
