Air Asia to boost Bandung service

BANDUNG, West Java: Malaysian budget airline Air Asia will double the number of its flights between Bandung and Kuala Lumpur beginning July to capitalize on the high number of passengers.

The airline will fly twice a day between the two cities beginning in July, up from one flight a day. The route has the airline's highest occupancy rate.

The airline, which also flies between Kuala Lumpur and Surabaya and Jakarta, plans to begin flying between Bandung and Johor Baru by the end of 2004. --JP
