GAC showcased three electric vehicle models ahead of the Beijing Auto Show 2026, namely the AION N60, AION i60, and Hyptec HL. These models reflect the development of electrification-based products with varying approaches, from daily vehicles to the premium segment.

The AION N60 is positioned as an electric vehicle that prioritises safety technology. This model is equipped with sensors such as LiDAR and 4D radar, which function to support advanced driver assistance systems.

The AION i60 arrives as an SUV with Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) technology. This vehicle offers a range of up to 1,240 kilometres using a combination of electric power and an additional system, making it designed for long-distance use.

Meanwhile, the Hyptec HL is a premium segment electric SUV. This model uses an 800V 5C charging system and has a pure electric range of up to 750 kilometres. For the REEV variant, the range is claimed to exceed 1,200 kilometres.

“GAC’s product development is specifically designed to meet diverse user needs. From electric vehicles for daily mobility, practical family SUVs, to high-performance premium lines. All are developed with a highly relevant approach for market characteristics like Indonesia,” stated in an official release on Thursday (23/4/2026).

These three models demonstrate GAC’s varied approaches in developing electric vehicles, both in terms of technology, range, and user segmentation.
