AiMOGA Robots Showcase Capabilities at Chery's South African Plant Inauguration

AiMOGA Robotics, a robotics company that is part of Chery’s technology ecosystem, showcased human-robot collaboration at the inauguration of Chery’s Rosslyn plant in Pretoria, South Africa. During the event, AiMOGA deployed the humanoid robot Mornine and the quadruped robot Argos to support the proceedings while demonstrating the practical application of robotics technology in operational and service activities at an international-scale event. At the opening ceremony, Mornine appeared alongside the master of ceremonies to open the proceedings and interact with guests from various countries. Meanwhile, Argos was tasked with welcoming guests, delivering drinking water, and assisting with patrols in the exhibition area to ensure smooth operational flow. On the occasion, AiMOGA also introduced its embodied intelligence technology, an artificial intelligence that enables robots to understand their surroundings, interact naturally with humans, and perform various actions according to the situation at hand. The Chinese-based company develops robotics technology based on real-world needs, with each function designed to provide practical benefits across various sectors, including automotive retail services, public services, business events, and international sporting events. AiMOGA had previously participated in various educational and social activities in South Africa in 2025 as an Ambassador for Educational Friendship. According to the company, AiMOGA’s presence at the Rosslyn plant inauguration is part of Chery’s global strategy to build an intelligent technology ecosystem while expanding the integration between the automotive and embodied intelligence industries.
