Jakarta, VIVA – The spirit of brotherhood and synergy among young entrepreneurs from across the archipelago is growing stronger in anticipation of the XVIII National Conference (Munas) of the BPP HIPMI. This was clearly demonstrated at a grand gathering entitled “Regional Collaboration Night”, initiated by Candidate for Chairman (Caketum) of the BPP HIPMI for the 2026-2029 term, Reynaldo Bryan, on Friday evening, 15 May, at Plataran Senayan, South Jakarta.
Carrying the spirit of “Regional Collaboration for Indonesia”, this event was more than just a gathering; it served as a platform to demonstrate a unifying vision. A strong wave of support flowed through the attendance of dozens of leaders from HIPMI Regional Boards (BPD) across Indonesia, who came together that night to align their efforts in supporting Caketum Reynaldo Bryan’s bid for leadership.
The atmosphere was warm and friendly throughout the event, which was attended by a number of prominent figures. In addition to the Chairmen of BPDs from various regions, young national figure Kaesang Pangarep, Chairman of the BPP HIPMI Akbar Himawan Buchari (AHB), and a group of Former Chairmen of the BPP HIPMI were also present.
The event was lively, culminating in a presentation of his vision and mission by Caketum Reynaldo Bryan. In his speech, Reynaldo expressed deep appreciation to all the figures and BPD Chairmen who attended. He also reflected on his long journey, which began with his involvement as a regional cadre.
“My story began nine years ago during Chairman Bahlil’s term, starting from the HIPMI Papua Barat Regional Board. I progressed to become Treasurer of the HIPMI Papua Barat Regional Board, and then met Chairman Akbar Himawan Buchari, leading me to stand here today as a candidate for Chairman of the BPP HIPMI,” said Reynaldo.
As a representative of the regions, Reynaldo reaffirmed his commitment to eliminating the dichotomy between the centre and the regions, and to encouraging local entrepreneurs to become key players in achieving national economic growth targets. “There is no difference between regional or city HIPMIs. HIPMI must be the main locomotive for pursuing 8 per cent economic growth. There is no successful formula for economic growth if we do not foster new young entrepreneurs in the regions. Why? Because the number of new entrepreneurs we have now is still insufficient. That is why the vision we are bringing is P.A.T.E.N,” he said.
