AII donates geography books

JAKARTA: The Australia Indonesia Institute (AII) has published
50,000 Australian geography books and plans to distribute 1,000
copies to a number of junior high schools across the country.

The Ministry of Education and Culture in cooperation with the
AAI will hold a symposium on Australian geography in Surabaya,
Semarang and Palembang in South Sumatra.

Antara said about 100 teachers were expected to attend the
events in each of the three cities. Dates of the symposiums were
not given. (edt)
