AI Requires Ecosystem Support to Smooth Digital Transformation

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Country Manager for FSI & PS, HPE Indonesia, Henry Lo, spoke candidly about the importance of digital transformation.

As is known, digital transformation is essential to drive efficiency and innovation in transforming conventional processes.

However, achieving this is not easy, particularly in leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Henry stated that digital transformation, especially AI, requires ecosystem support.

“Speaking of transformation, if not supported by an ecosystem, from developer education to users of this transformation, it could become a bottleneck,” he said at the Tech & Telco Forum themed “Building a Safer Digital Nation: From Connectivity to Cyber Resilience” at the Bank Mega building in Jakarta on Wednesday (6/5/2026).

Furthermore, digital transformation requires substantial investment, one of which is in the financial sector. In light of this, HPE is ready to bridge the gap so that transformation in the industry can truly run optimally, continued Henry.

“HPE is very focused on AI, digital transformation based on design sustainability. So sustainability can save resource usage and is also based on security,” he explained.

HPE itself is a pioneer in providing infrastructure solutions for AI use. In supporting industry needs, HPE is one of the companies with strong experience and offers various solutions in AI utilisation.

Henry further added that HPE has technological innovation in liquid cooling, a liquid-based cooling system to support AI use. This innovation is very important considering that AI utilisation is power-hungry or requires significant energy in computing systems.
