AI Drives Business Efficiency, But Its Impact in Indonesia Reaches Only 12 Percent

This is being achieved through the launch of various technology-based solutions at the BytePlus Indonesia AI Day 2026 event. The event features a range of AI innovations aimed at accelerating digital transformation across sectors, from e-commerce and digital companies to media and the public sector. The platform can be used to develop intelligent chatbots to generating personalised content. Additionally, BytePlus has launched a series of Seed models designed to support the development of integrated digital experiences. Some of the models introduced include Dola Seed 2.0 for reasoning capabilities, Dreamina Seedance 2.0 for creating dynamic videos, and Dola Seedream 5.0 for generating images based on natural language. The company has integrated BytePlus’s AI-based chatbot into the TJ: Transjakarta app, allowing users to access route information, schedules, and services quickly through natural language interactions. The use of this technology has successfully reduced customer query handling times by 93.82 percent across various Transjakarta social media platforms. Director of Information Technology Systems and Services at Transjakarta, Raditya Maulana Rusdi, stated that the AI integration has brought significant changes to user services.
