AI Can Help with Market Analysis, but Traders Still Need to Manage Risk
JAKARTA — Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly being used to analyse activity in financial markets. The technology can help traders read price trends, technical indicators and economic factors, but it does not replace judgement or risk management when making decisions.
Didimax is among the firms using AI in this way, through its AI Trading Assistant, which can be used without purchasing additional tokens. Users can ask questions about market conditions, trading strategies and risk management.
Didimax director Cenli Yani said the service could help traders obtain information before making trading decisions. “The Didimax AI Trading Assistant can be used free of charge without having to buy AI tokens,” Yani said in a statement on Tuesday (27 October 2026).
The feature can, among other things, explain movements in gold prices against the US dollar (XAU/USD), support and resistance levels, and price trends. Beginner traders can also use AI to understand technical-analysis terms and concepts.
For more experienced traders, the technology can provide additional information to compare with their own analysis before opening a position. However, its output still needs to be checked against market conditions and each trader’s strategy.
Alongside its AI assistant, the platform offers AI Trading Signal as a trading-signal reference. Other information, including market news, technical sentiment, an economic calendar and price charts, is also available on a single dashboard.
Using AI in trading does not eliminate the risk of losses. System-generated information does not guarantee profits, so traders still need to assess the accuracy of analyses, set risk limits and consider market conditions before making transactions.
