The South Tangerang City Government is accelerating digital transformation with the upcoming official launch of the integrated Tangsel One service platform (Tangerang Selatan One System).

South Tangerang Mayor Benyamin Davnie stated that Tangsel One represents a strategic step towards providing easier, faster, and more integrated public services for the community.

“All public services needed by residents will be consolidated in one AI-based platform. Residents can also submit aspirations and ask various questions about South Tangerang City directly through this platform,” Benyamin said in his statement on Thursday (23/4/2026).

He emphasised that digitising public services is an essential need amid technological advancements, while also serving as an effort to increase transparency and bureaucratic efficiency.

“It is hoped that Tangsel One can truly facilitate the community and become the new face of modern, integrated, and efficient public services,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Communication and Informatics Department (Diskominfo) of South Tangerang City, Tb. Asep Nurdin, explained that Tangsel One is designed as a chat-first AI-based digital service centre capable of quickly and responsively addressing community needs.

According to him, this innovation addresses the challenges of fragmented public service access that has persisted until now.

“The platform combines single data with conversational ease. Residents can handle various needs, from permits to complaints, simply through WhatsApp without complicated processes,” Tb. Asep clarified.

He added that Tangsel One also introduces a contactless service concept or non-face-to-face services, allowing residents to access services anytime and anywhere.

Not only that, the AI-based system used enables services to operate more objectively and transparently, while minimising potential discrimination in public services.

“With Tangsel One, residents can easily find information about South Tangerang, from tourist spots and places to explore local cuisine to other public service information. Everything is presented in one chat space,” he explained.

Tangsel One will function like a “city assistant” that operates 24 hours a day, providing official government information in a friendly yet professional communication style.

Embracing the “One Access, One Data, One Tangsel” concept, the platform is expected to serve as a strong foundation in realising an inclusive and sustainable smart city ecosystem.

The South Tangerang City Government is optimistic that Tangsel One’s presence will not only simplify administrative services but also represent a significant leap in building modern, adaptive governance oriented towards community needs.
