AHY Reports to Prabowo Yesterday Afternoon, Mentions Java North Coast Rescue

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - President Prabowo Subianto chaired the Limited Meeting of the Merah Putih Cabinet, which took place virtually on Monday (11/5/2026). Among those attending the meeting was Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).

“In that opportunity, I reported on the progress of several priority agendas that are directives from the President to strengthen our infrastructure, connectivity, and regional resilience,” said AHY, as quoted from his official Instagram account on Tuesday (12/5/2026).

According to AHY, the five main points overseen by the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure include:

1. Rescue of Java’s North Coast (Pantura);

2. Post-Disaster Rehabilitation;

3. Indonesia Asri Movement with Green and Blue Open Spaces;

4. 3 Million Houses Programme and Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Concept; and

5. Transformation and National Railway Network;

Furthermore, AHY also reported on the importance of water self-sufficiency through sustainable irrigation management and household piping as a main pillar of food security.

“The challenges ahead are not light, but with hard work and cross-sectoral collaboration, we are optimistic that the national infrastructure will become increasingly resilient and bring real benefits to all Indonesian people,” said AHY.
