AHY Invites Public to Choose Logo for Democratic Party's 25th Anniversary

Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), General Chairman of the Democratic Party’s Central Executive Board, has invited cadres, sympathisers, and the general public to help determine the official logo for the Democratic Party’s 25th Anniversary through an online vote. According to AHY, the commemoration of the party’s quarter-century is not only a moment to reflect on its long journey but also an opportunity to involve the public in determining the visual identity that will symbolise 25 years of the Democratic Party’s service to the nation and state. “The 25-year journey of the Democratic Party is a journey of service to the people. Therefore, we want the public to be part of that history, including in determining the official logo for the Democratic Party’s 25th Anniversary,” AHY said in a statement received in Jakarta on Saturday. Before entering the selection stage, the Democratic Party first held a logo design competition participated in by creators from various regions. After a selection process by the committee, the work of Bogi Wijayanto was chosen as it was deemed most capable of representing the spirit, values, and 25-year journey of the Democratic Party. In the development process, Bogi presented three alternative designs, each possessing distinct visual strengths and philosophies, yet all carrying an identity aligned with the 25th anniversary theme. Rather than directly deciding on one design, AHY opted to hand the final choice to the public through an open voting mechanism. “These three designs each have their own character and meaning, which is why I want the public to help determine the logo that will become the official identity of the Democratic Party’s 25th Anniversary. This is our shared celebration,” he said. Through this vote, the public can choose the design they feel best represents the spirit of renewal, togetherness, optimism, and the Democratic Party’s commitment to continue serving the people. As a token of appreciation for public participation, the Democratic Party has also prepared prizes for 25 winners, each receiving Rp500,000. Voting is open until Tuesday (7/7) at 12.00 WIB. The public can cast their votes via the page https://pilihlogo.demokrat.or.id/. The Democratic Party hopes that public participation will make the 25th anniversary logo truly born from shared aspirations, as well as a symbol of a new spirit to continue serving the community, nation, and state. “Come on, choose your favourite logo, celebrate the Democratic Party’s 25-year journey together, and be part of the history we build together,” said AHY.
