The Trans-Java Toll Road is ensured to be in prime condition. We are also anticipating all forms of incidents, including weather, which we monitor 24 hours a day, of course in collaboration with the BMKG (Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency), and the personnel on the ground,” he stated while monitoring the mudik flow from the Jasamarga Tollroad Command Center (JMTC) office in Jatiasih, Bekasi, West Java, on Thursday.

On that occasion, he conveyed that Thursday is the peak of the mudik flow, as previously predicted.

Several waves of peak mudik flow have been anticipated, starting from Saturday (14/3/2026), Sunday (15/3/2026), Wednesday (18/3/2026), and this Thursday.

Based on direct monitoring and reports via CCTV and video conferences, continued AHY, congestion points are observed at Kilometre (Km) 70 Cikatama (Karawang, West Java), Kalikangkung (Semarang, Central Java), and the Prambanan Toll Gate (functional Yogyakarta-Solo toll, Central Java).

“Overall, through CCTV monitoring, it is busy but smooth. We continue to oversee this until it truly subsides, and the public is generally in their respective hometowns, celebrating Eid al-Fitr with their beloved families,” stated the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs.

He emphasised that Operation Ketupat, implemented through collaboration between the National Police, the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs, the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Public Works, and related stakeholders such as Jasa Marga, aims to ensure that the journeys of mudik participants to various regions proceed smoothly.

This is particularly the case for the densest routes towards Central Java, Yogyakarta, and East Java.

“Hopefully everything runs well, and they can arrive at their destinations safely, because that is the most important and primary thing. Beyond that, we want to ensure that after Eid, the return flow can also be overseen together,” said AHY.
