AHY Announces Annisa Pohan Is Seven Months Pregnant: 'God Willing, the Baby Will Be Born Under the Fire Horse Zodiac'
Jakarta, VIVA – Democratic Party chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) has announced that his wife, Annisa Pohan, is expecting their second child, with the pregnancy now in its seventh month.
The announcement was made during the Democratic Party's 2026 Lunar New Year celebration at Djakarta Theater in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, 18 February 2026.
"This year is the Year of the Fire Horse. Mba Annisa and I — Mba Annisa is now an expectant mother, please keep us in your prayers — she's just over seven months along. God willing, the baby will be born under the Fire Horse zodiac," said AHY.
AHY explained that the Fire Horse zodiac carries a positive philosophy and spirit. "The Year of the Fire Horse certainly has a philosophy and spirit that are truly good," he said.
He then noted the coincidence that he shares the same Horse zodiac sign as the baby his wife is carrying. AHY expressed his hope that the child would possess the character traits of hard work and courage.
"My zodiac sign is also the Horse. 1978, the Earth Horse if I'm not mistaken," said AHY.
"God willing, the baby will be born under the Fire Horse sign. Both Horses. The spirit of positive energy, hard work, struggle, courage — these determine many things. 'Who dares wins,' as Pak SBY says — those who are brave will prevail," he continued.
Furthermore, AHY expressed his hope that the positive spirit of the Fire Horse could bring progress to Indonesia.
