Ahmad Yani Airport alerts to flight disruptions from severe weather

Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang is alerting authorities to the potential for flight disruptions caused by severe weather during the Lebaran transport operation period running from 13 to 30 March 2026, as unfavourable weather conditions remain likely during this period. In addition to preparing supporting facilities in anticipation, airport authorities have maximised coordination with Indonesia’s meteorological agency (BMKG) and air navigation services (Airnav) to minimise the occurrence of flight disruptions.
