The Central Board of the Parmusi Youth Movement (PB GP Parmusi) held a silaturahmi event with Ahmad Doli Kurnia Tanjung. This meeting served as an opportunity to strengthen institutional relations while discussing various national and youth issues.

During the meeting, several important issues emerged, one of which concerned the Indonesian Data System Bill (RUU SDI). PB GP Parmusi assessed that this regulation has high urgency in strengthening transparent, accountable national data governance based on sustainable development needs.

The General Chairman of PB GP Parmusi, Kifah Gibraltar Bey Fananie, stated that this silaturahmi is part of efforts to build consolidation of ideas between youth and national figures.

“This meeting has become a highly productive dialogue space. We see the importance of involving experienced figures in providing direction and strengthening the youth movement, especially in responding to strategic national issues such as the RUU SDI,” he said.

Meanwhile, Doli Kurnia Tanjung, who is also the first General Chairman of PB GP Parmusi, welcomed the silaturahmi and emphasised the importance of the youth’s role in maintaining the quality of democracy and state governance.

“Youth must be present as an intellectual force capable of reading the direction of the times. Issues like national data management are not merely technical but concern sovereignty and the nation’s future. Therefore, I fully support the efforts undertaken by GP Parmusi,” he stated.

On the same occasion, he also expressed his readiness to contribute again as part of the PB GP Parmusi Advisory Board.

“I am ready to accompany GP Parmusi as an Advisory Board member, as a form of commitment to advancing the youth’s role in national and state life,” he said.

The Deputy Secretary General II of PB GP Parmusi, Muhammad Nabil Alfarizi, affirmed that the results of this meeting will be followed up with concrete organisational steps.

“We in GP Parmusi now feel a responsibility to continue what Brother has built from the beginning. That is why we want to ensure that GP Parmusi remains relevant on strategic issues as Brother has promoted with the One Data Bill,” he said.

Amid the increasingly complex challenges of the digital era, PB GP Parmusi believes that Indonesia’s future is not only determined by political strength but also by how well the state can manage data as a strategic national asset.
