Ahmad Bahar’s Daughter Traumatised After Being Taken to GRIB: Afraid of Cars in Front of the House
F (33), the daughter of the author Ahmad Bahar, is said to have experienced trauma after allegedly receiving inhumane treatment following her transfer to the GRIB Jaya headquarters on Sunday, 17 May 2026. Gufroni, head of Research and Public Advocacy at LBH AP PP Muhammadiyah, said the victim’s psychological condition remains shaken after the incident.
‘She is very traumatised. If there is a car in front of the house or if there are unknown people nearby, she is very afraid,’ he told reporters in Central Jakarta on Thursday, 21 May 2026.
F visited the National Commission for Human Rights (Komnas HAM) and the National Commission on Women (Komnas Perempuan) accompanied by her legal team to report the alleged inhumane treatment experienced at GRIB Jaya’s central headquarters.
According to Gufroni, there were a number of actions that violated human rights, particularly for women, while the victim was at the GRIB Jaya central headquarters. ‘She, aged 33, endured treatment that was very unpleasant and clearly violated fundamental rights, especially for women. In the incident that occurred last Sunday and continued into that evening, there were things beyond human capacity,’ he said.
‘There were very inhumane treatments carried out by members of the GRIB organisation, including Mr Hercules. We will present the substantive points to Komnas HAM Commissioners with the facts of what happened to our client when she was interrogated by Hercules at the GRIB Jaya Central Headquarters,’ he added.
However, the legal team has not disclosed in detail the forms of treatment experienced by the victim. According to Gufroni, details of the incident will only be disclosed after there is security protection for the victim. ‘Perhaps later, after we obtain guarantees from a Commissioner, there will be security assurances, especially for a woman,’ he said.
Because of the trauma the victim is experiencing, the team also plans to consult with the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) regarding psychological support.
Their arrival was said to be to seek Ahmad Bahar in relation to TikTok content deemed to attack Hercules. In addition, the group also wants to clarify a threatening message that Ahmad Bahar sent to Hercules.
However, when Ahmad Bahar was not at home, the delegation took his daughter, who was present at the location.
Ahmad Bahar’s wife, Yenni Nur, said his daughter was forced to accompany them to the GRIB Jaya office so that Ahmad Bahar would come to meet Hercules.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Bahar had previously apologised for the incident, saying his WhatsApp number had been hacked. The dispute between Ahmad Bahar and GRIB Jaya had also been mediated by Depok Metro Police, resulting in a peaceful resolution.
As of now, GRIB Jaya has not commented on the claims made by the victim and her legal team.
