Ahmad Bahar’s daughter, Ilma Sani Fitriana, has requested protection from the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK). She claims to feel unsafe after allegedly being detained by GRIB Jaya’s chairman, Hercules Rosario Marshal. Ilma’s legal representative, Gufroni, stated they have lodged a complaint with LPSK for protection, citing reports that GRIB Jaya members may return to her residence after she reported the detention to police. ‘Yes, we have [approached LPSK]. Yesterday, we requested legal, physical, and psychological protection,’ he told Republika on Tuesday, 26 May 2026. Gufroni noted that Ilma and her father are currently staying mostly at home due to ongoing trauma from their encounter with the group’s leader, and they remain fearful of venturing outside. The head of Research and Advocacy at Muhammadiyah’s Central Public Legal Aid and Advocacy Agency (LBH AP PP) has deployed Muhammadiyah Youth Commando (Kokam) members to guard Ahmad Bahar’s home, with police also providing security to prevent any unwanted incidents. ‘God willing, it is safe as police are guarding to prevent any unforeseen events,’ he added. Previously, Ilma claimed she was taken by GRIB Jaya members on Sunday, 17 May 2026, accused of threatening Hercules, his wife, and close associates via WhatsApp messages. The group also sought her father, who frequently posts TikTok commentaries on current affairs, including disputes between Hercules and Amien Rais. ‘When they took me, I said I didn’t want to go. They were looking for my father, and even though my account was involved, they forced me to come,’ she stated at the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) on Thursday, 21 May 2026. After prolonged argument, the 33-year-old eventually complied, fearing more people would come to her home if she refused and being forcibly taken if she continued to resist. The incident was witnessed by the local neighbourhood chief and authorities. That afternoon, she was taken directly to GRIB Jaya’s headquarters in West Jakarta, where she was told to wait for Hercules. After some time, Hercules appeared and immediately questioned her about sending threatening messages to him and his wife. Ilma explained her phone had been hacked and that she had no issues with Hercules, his wife, or his organisation. ‘I said, “Sorry, sir, it wasn’t me,” but he still didn’t believe me,’ Ilma said. During the encounter, she claimed Hercules repeatedly threatened her and used inappropriate language in front of surrounding men. ‘I couldn’t even respond if it wasn’t me sending those threats,’ the woman said, her voice trembling. Hercules allegedly ordered her to remove her hijab, accusing her of threatening his wife. He also threatened to strip her father naked and have her film it if he were present. ‘If your father were here, I’d strip him naked and make you film it. Call him now to come pick you up. If he doesn’t come, you won’t leave here,’ she recounted Hercules saying. Following this, Ilma said Hercules pulled out a pistol and fired it twice downward. ‘Look at this,’ he pointed, ‘I thought I wouldn’t shoot,’ then ‘this is my shot,’ dor-dor, he fired twice,” Ilma said. She described the treatment as deeply unfair, insisting she was innocent and unaware of who hacked her phone.
