Ahmad Bahar's Daughter Claims She Was Threatened with a Gun by Hercules; GRIB Demands Proof
JAKARTA — The Deputy Chairman for Law and Advocacy of DPP GRIB Jaya, Wilson Colling, has called on Ilma Sani Fitriana, the daughter of author Ahmad Bahar, to provide evidence for her allegations that the General Chairman of DPP GRIB Jaya, Rosario de Marshall (alias Hercules), threatened her with a pistol.
“Currently, in the public sphere, it appears as though she was held captive and there are reports of a gun being pointed at her. This must be proven; it should not merely be a narrative constructed in the public arena to garner sympathy without being substantiated,” Wilson explained via telephone on Saturday (23/05/2026).
Wilson maintains that Ilma’s allegations regarding unlawful detention and the use of a firearm at the GRIB Jaya headquarters in Kedoya, West Jakarta, must be proven through legal channels.
“She claims there was detention and other incidents, yet religious figures and local community leaders (RW) were present. This must be proven in court. There were claims of a pistol and gunfire, yet I travelled there directly from out of town and witnessed none of this,” Wilson asserted.
Wilson also expressed disappointment regarding the conduct of Ilma’s legal counsel, who openly named Hercules in connection with the alleged detention and firearm threats.
“The entire narrative from the legal counsel fails to uphold the principle of the presumption of innocence, explicitly naming Hercules in relation to pointing a gun and other acts. Such allegations of pointing a weapon and unlawful detention require concrete evidence and the fulfilment of all legal elements,” Wilson added.
Previously, ISF (33), the daughter of book author Ahmad Bahar, shared her testimony after being taken to the GRIB Jaya headquarters in West Jakarta on Sunday (17/05/2026).
ISF recounted that she was forced to accompany several individuals who arrived at her home in Cimanggis, Depok, while searching for her father.
“I said I did not want to go, because they were looking for my father. However, they continued to pressure me to accompany them,” ISF told reporters after visiting the National Commission on Human Rights (Komnas HAM) building in Central Jakarta on Thursday (21/05/2026).
According to her, the individuals requested her presence at the GRIB office under the pretext of ensuring the safety of her home situation.
“They said, ‘We will prepare a letter on stamp duty guaranteeing your safety.’ I replied that I did not want to,” ISF continued.
ISF admitted that she ultimately felt compelled to go to the GRIB Jaya headquarters after the local community leader (RW) and the Village Supervisory Officer (Babinsa) arrived at her residence. At that time, she feared for the safety of her grandmother, who remained inside the house, should she continue to refuse.
