Ahmad Bahar Rejects GRIB Jaya Chairman Hercules' Planned Visit to His Home
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Ahmad Bahar’s representatives have rejected plans for GRIB Jaya Chairman Rosario de Marshall, alias Hercules, to visit his home in Cimanggis, Depok, West Java.
Previously, Hercules stated he would visit Ahmad Bahar’s residence directly to seek a resolution to the dispute with the author.
“Mr Bahar is not receiving visitors. We have not received any information from GRIB Jaya regarding the visit,” said Ahmad Bahar’s family spokesperson, Heru Subagio, when contacted by Kompas.com on Monday, 25 May 2026.
Heru stated that the family rejected Hercules’ visit as a prior resolution and agreement had been reached regarding a threatening video sent to the wife of GRIB Jaya’s chairman via WhatsApp.
It is understood that the video was sent via WhatsApp by Ahmad Bahar and his daughter, Ilma, after their phone numbers were hacked.
On the other hand, should Hercules arrive with GRIB Jaya members, the family has coordinated with Cimanggis Police Station for security assistance.
“Come if you wish. We have resigned ourselves. Carry out your threat,” Heru said.
Heru also revealed that Ahmad Bahar will visit the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) office in East Jakarta at 2pm to file a report over alleged kidnapping of his daughter.
His visit aims to seek a resolution for the dispute between himself and Hercules.
“If you want to resolve it amicably, let’s resolve it. If you want to take it to court, go ahead. If necessary, I will visit his home tomorrow because he himself asked me to come,” Hercules said during a press conference at GRIB Jaya’s headquarters in West Jakarta on Sunday evening, 24 May 2026.
