Ahead of her replacement, the Head of the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office (Kajati Bali), Chatarina Muliana Girsang, first inaugurated three structural officials within the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday (22 April 2026). The inauguration, held at the Sasana Dharma Adhyaksa Hall, became one of Chatarina’s final agendas before undergoing a transfer to the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta.

The three officials inaugurated were Dicky Darmawan as Head of the Buleleng District Prosecutor’s Office (Kajari Buleleng), Andi Metrawijaya as Assistant for Development at the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office, and Medie as Head of the Tabanan District Prosecutor’s Office.

This inauguration is part of the job rotation and transfer based on Decree of the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia Number KEP-IV-347/C/04/2026 dated 13 April 2026.

In her speech, Chatarina emphasised that the job rotation is not merely a ceremonial agenda but a strategic step in strengthening institutional performance.

“This inauguration is not just ceremonial but part of efforts to strengthen performance and public service. Integrity must be the main foundation,” she asserted.

Chatarina also reminded the newly inaugurated officials to quickly adapt to their respective work environments and maintain professionalism in carrying out their duties.

“Quickly adjust, understand the characteristics of the work area, and maintain synergy in law enforcement,” she stated.

This inauguration moment also serves as an affirmation of the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office’s commitment to maintaining performance continuity amid the dynamics of leadership rotation that will soon unfold at the national level.

As is known, Chatarina Muliana is among the officials who will be inaugurated in the major transfer at the Attorney General’s Office on 29 April 2026 in Jakarta. Chatarina’s position as Kajati Bali will be filled by Setiawan Budi Cahyono.

The inauguration, attended by the main officials of the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office and the heads of district prosecutor’s offices across Bali, is expected to accelerate case handling and optimise internal development in each work unit.

Closing her tenure in Bali, Chatarina’s step in inaugurating new officials becomes a marker of leadership continuity, while ensuring the organisation’s wheels continue to turn without interruption amid the transition to new leadership.
