Ahead of Persib Bandung vs Persijap Jepara, Bojan Hodak's Important Message to Bobotoh
Bandung – Persib Bandung head coach Bojan Hodak has urged his team’s supporters, Bobotoh, to keep order as they approach the season-ending match against Persijap Jepara at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium on Saturday, 23 May, as the 2025/2026 Super League title race enters a tense finale.
“I hope the supporters, if we win, there won’t be any invasions onto the pitch that would make the situation less conducive. This should be a learning experience for us. Let’s not have this happen again,” he said in Bandung on Friday, 22 May.
He added that supporters remain an important source of additional energy for the team in crucial matches. However, he stressed that the support must stay within orderly bounds, especially if the team secures victory and the title.
“But if we can win and become champions, enjoy the match and the celebrations properly, but don’t spoil the mood afterward,” he said.
He reaffirmed that the team’s full focus must be directed at the decisive match that has not yet been played. He asked players and supporters not to be distracted by off-field matters so performance remains high.
Hodak also noted that conversations about celebrating an euphoria of winning should not disturb the team’s concentration, because Persib still has one more important match to decide the season’s outcome.
Thus, Persib Bandung is expected to stay focused until the end of the match and approach it with disciplined support from the fans.
