Mobile storage or pocket fuel stations have been provided with 16,000 litres of Pertalite and 8,000 litres of Pertamax, prepared by Pertamina Patra Niaga’s West Java Regional Office to expedite fuel stock replenishment at service stations.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) has ensured that fuel stocks are available and adequate along the toll road sections in Bandung West, West Java, ahead of the peak Lebaran return flow in 2026 this week.

BPH Migas Head Wahyudi Anas stated in Jakarta on Tuesday that the public can refuel and rest safely and comfortably before continuing their journeys to various destination cities.

On Monday (23/3/2026), Wahyudi directly monitored service stations 149B and 125B along the Padalarang-Cileunyi (Padaleunyi) Toll Road in Bandung West.

Wahyudi explained that both service stations are in strategic locations as they connect southern West Java with Bandung and Jakarta.

Throughout the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday period, consumption of Pertalite and Pertamax fuels at these two service stations increased by 5-10%.

“Meanwhile, Biosolar decreased by 30%, considering the operational restrictions on large vehicles with six wheels or three axles and above during this Lebaran,” he added.

Wahyudi explained that PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has prepared pocket service stations in the form of fully standby tanker trucks to maintain fuel availability amid high public mobility.

During his monitoring, accompanied by BPH Migas Committee Member Harya Adityawarman, Wahyudi also checked the quality and volume of fuel dispensed from the nozzles at the service stations through specific gravity tests.

The results obtained, according to him, showed that the measurements and quality of the fuel complied with the established standards.

“Alhamdulillah, the public will definitely receive fuel per litre in accordance with the tolerances set by Pertamina Patra Niaga and the metrology authorities. Earlier, we also observed and verified the comparison between Pertamax, Pertalite, and Biosolar, which were shipped before being unloaded into storage tanks, all with the same colour, with no changes to the products distributed to the public, so the quality is in accordance with standards,” he said.

Meanwhile, Sales Branch Manager for Bandung Fuel at Pertamina Patra Niaga, Zico Aldillah Syahtian, stated that his side consistently ensures that fuel stocks at service stations are maintained at safe levels by periodically adding fuel stocks.

In addition, there are supplementary services in the form of motorist assistance as an alternative for refuelling vehicles that require fuel while stuck in traffic jams.
