Ahead of National Leadership Meeting, SOKSI Affirms Support for Government Programmes
JAKARTA - The Sentral Organisasi Karyawan Swadiri Indonesia (SOKSI), a founding organisation of the Golkar Party, has expressed support for the government’s work programmes, including several strategic policies deemed to favour the public.
SOKSI General Chairman Mukhamad Misbakhun emphasised that the organisation he leads is committed to overseeing the implementation of government policies, including the President’s directives on Labour Day.
“Our task is to ensure that these policies are implemented,” Misbakhun said after the SOKSI plenary meeting at the Golkar Party’s central executive board office in Jakarta on Monday (4/5/2026).
Misbakhun cited one strategic step that he said has a direct impact on the public, namely the corporate action through Danantara in managing Gojek shares.
“This is a strategic step that provides direct economic benefits to the public,” Misbakhun stated.
In today’s plenary meeting, SOKSI also highlighted the government’s policy of maintaining prices for subsidised fuel oil (BBM).
According to Misbakhun, this policy is important for preserving public purchasing power and national economic stability.
In addition, SOKSI expressed political support for various government policies, particularly those related to energy, food, and LPG subsidies.
These policies are seen as part of efforts to strengthen social protection for the public.
SOKSI also stressed the importance of sustaining the government’s strategic measures that impact improvements in welfare, including in the digital transportation ecosystem involving driver partners.
It was previously reported that SOKSI will hold a national work meeting (rakernas) and national leadership meeting (rapimnas) on Monday (11/5/2026) next week.
The 2026 SOKSI Rakernas and Rapimnas in Bandung are said to serve as a forum for organisational consolidation as well as strengthening future work programmes in support of the national development agenda.
