Ahead of MPR Annual Session, Dasco Hopes Proceedings Run Smoothly

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives from the Gerindra Party faction, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, confirmed that he had checked the readiness for the MPR Annual Session and the Joint Session of the DPR and DPD in the context of the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at the Nusantara Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, this morning. The agenda will then proceed with a DPR Plenary Meeting for the submission of the 2027 State Budget Bill.

‘This annual session features the President’s speech regarding the 2027 State Budget Bill. That is the first point. Secondly, we have checked the preparations since yesterday. Hopefully, today’s proceedings can run smoothly,’ said Dasco.

According to Dasco, there are no significant differences in the implementation of the MPR Annual Session, the Joint Session of the DPR and DPD, or the DPR Plenary Meeting for the submission of the 2027 State Budget Bill.

‘Except that some parts have been shortened to accommodate Friday prayers,’ Dasco stated.

He also confirmed that Prabowo would be bringing eight special guests. However, Dasco admitted he could not quite recall their names.
