PT KCIC is optimising various non-farebox business services across all Whoosh stations during the long weekend holiday period from 14 to 17 May 2026. KCIC Corporate Secretary General Manager Eva Chairunisa stated that the optimisation is achieved through the readiness of more than 100 retail and non-retail tenants, including UMKM, as well as the provision of thousands of vehicle parking spaces to support passenger travel needs.

“Optimising non-farebox business is part of KCIC’s commitment to providing an increasingly comfortable and integrated travel experience, especially during periods of increased public mobility,” said Eva in a written statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (12/5/2026).

Eva explained that public mobility generally increases during long holiday periods. KCIC ensures that all facilities and supporting services at the stations can be utilised optimally so that passengers’ journeys remain comfortable, practical, and smooth.

Currently, continued Eva, KCIC offers a total of 116 retail and non-retail tenants across all Whoosh stations, consisting of 87 non-UMKM tenants and 29 UMKM tenants. Halim Station has 60 tenants, Padalarang Station 31 tenants, Tegalluar Summarecon Station 23 tenants, and Karawang Station two tenants that support passengers’ travel needs during the long holiday period.

“Various tenants provide a range of passenger needs from food and beverages, travel essentials, UMKM products, to other supporting services to offer a more practical and comfortable travel experience,” she added.

In addition to culinary and retail tenants, continued Eva, various non-retail facilities are available such as ATMs, vending machines, smart lockers, charging and power bank rental services, photoboxes, and massage chairs in the station areas. Eva stated that KCIC is also preparing more than 1,500 vehicle parking spaces managed by KCIC at Whoosh stations to support the mobility of passengers bringing private vehicles during the long holiday period.

“Those parking areas are available at Halim, Karawang, Padalarang, and Tegalluar Summarecon Stations for both cars and motorcycles,” said Eva.
