Ahead of Eid al-Adha, Grab Indonesia Announces 100 Driver Partners as BERKAH Programme Winners
Ahead of the meaningful occasion of Eid al-Adha 1447 H, Grab Indonesia has announced 100 outstanding driver partners as winners of the BERKAH (Umrah Journey) programme. This announcement complements five driver partners who received similar recognition during Ramadan 2026 on 26 February, bringing the total to 105 drivers from across Indonesia set to perform Umrah through this meaningful journey initiative.
The BERKAH programme forms part of Grab Indonesia’s ongoing ‘Support for Driver Partners’ initiative, launched in early 2026, valued at over Rp100 billion. The initiative comprises three complementary pillars: Phase 1 – Ensuring Safety through free BPJS Ketenagakerjaan access; Phase 2 – Adding Meaning via Holiday Bonuses (BHR) and the BERKAH programme; and Phase 3 – Moving Forward Together through GrabAcademy for skill development.
Specifically, the BERKAH programme represents Grab Indonesia’s appreciation beyond financial dimensions, complementing the BHR distributed to over 400,000 driver partners during Eid al-Fitr 2026. By introducing BERKAH, Grab Indonesia aims to deliver appreciation that resonates on spiritual and personal levels for its driver partners.
‘We believe support for driver partners can take many forms. Every day, they embark on journeys, delivering passengers, food, and goods while spreading kindness in every interaction. The BERKAH programme is our way of acknowledging these journeys. Through this initiative, we aim to express heartfelt gratitude to driver partners who not only excel but also dedicate their lives to helping and inspiring others,’ said Neneng Goenadi, Grab Indonesia’s CEO.
Neneng added that the programme falls under the same pillar as BHR, Phase 2 – Adding Meaning. ‘We want to ensure appreciation for driver partners is not limited to a single moment but continues in forms relevant to their needs and life milestones. Following BHR during Eid al-Fitr, the BERKAH programme arrives ahead of Eid al-Adha as a sustained gesture of appreciation for driver partners.’
