Ahead of Eid 2026, Customs Director-General Inspects Cargo Flow Readiness at Tanjung Priok
The Director-General of Customs and Excise, Djaka Budi Utama, conducted a working visit to the Main Service Office of Customs at Tanjung Priok Port in Jakarta on Friday (13 March 2026).
The visit was conducted to ensure the readiness of service and monitoring of cargo flow ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah, particularly at the port which serves as one of Indonesia’s primary gateways for international trade.
During the visit, Djaka was accompanied by several technical directors and inspected multiple service points, including the Main Office, TPFT Graha, and the Longroom. The inspection was carried out to directly assess the preparedness of personnel and the customs clearance service processes in the field.
To prepare for this, the Main Service Office of Customs at Tanjung Priok began optimising the use of Trade AI technology in the process of determining the Letter of Determination of Tariff and Customs Value (SPTNP).
Furthermore, the Directorate of Free Trade Zones and the Directorate of Customs Intelligence are also reported to be inventorying various standalone applications developed by vertical units. These applications have the potential to be integrated into a national system to improve budgetary efficiency whilst standardising services.
