Ahead of 17 August, National Paskibraka 2026 Finalises Preparations
Ahead of the ceremony marking the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia on 17 August 2026, the 2026 National Paskibraka continue to refine their preparations. In addition to physical training and discipline, the members are also maintaining their fitness, appearance, and confidence before carrying out their state duties at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta.
A total of 76 students from 38 provinces were inaugurated as members of the 2026 national-level Paskibraka by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka at the State Palace in Jakarta on Saturday (15/8). They will subsequently serve in the ceremony marking the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence.
Amid a packed training schedule, appearance has become one of the aspects being prepared. The 2026 National Paskibraka are supported with make-up and hair styling ahead of the ceremony.
Director of PT Mustika Ratu Tbk, Kusuma Ida Anjani, said that involvement in the Paskibraka preparations is a form of appreciation for the long process the members have undergone, from selection through to coaching and training.
“For us, accompanying the National Paskibraka is not only about making them look neat and confident. It is a form of appreciation for their hard work, discipline, and spirit of service,” said Kusuma.
According to her, the support covers make-up, hair styling, and skin and hair care. This is done to help the members remain comfortable and well-groomed throughout the series of activities.
One of the 2026 National Paskibraka members from DKI Jakarta, Latiesha Firenzie Bharata, said that the make-up and hairdo process has become a distinctive experience during the preparation period.
“Amid the packed training schedule, the make-up and hairdo process has become one of the moments to relax and enjoy time with friends,” said Latiesha.
According to her, being part of the National Paskibraka is a valuable experience that requires not only physical readiness but also mental strength, discipline, and responsibility.
She revealed that self-care routines have become a small part of daily life during the preparation period. Make-up, hairdos, hair care, and the use of sunscreen are not only related to appearance but are also part of efforts to maintain comfort and confidence before carrying out their duties on 17 August.
