Agung Winarno, Executive Producer of Film ‘Sang Pengadil’, Implicated in Zarof Ricar Case
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has confirmed that Agung Winarno (AW), the suspect in the alleged money laundering (TPPU) case related to the bribery conviction of Zarof Ricar, is the executive producer of the film “Sang Pengadil”.
“Correct (maker of the film Sang Pengadil),” stated the Head of the Legal Information Centre of Kejagung, Anang Supriatna, to Kompas.com on Thursday (16/4/2026).
Anang confirmed that the individual is the figure behind the film “Sang Pengadil”, which was produced in collaboration with Zarof.
Previously, the Director of Investigation of Jampidsus Kejagung, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, stated that the suspect designation was made today.
In 2025, Zarof then entrusted several assets to Agung, ranging from land certificates, deposits, to cash.
These assets were sent to Agung’s office for storage and management.
However, investigators suspect that Agung knew that these assets originated from corruption crimes.
“That the suspect AW knew that the entrustment of these assets to be managed by suspect AW was for the purpose of concealing or disguising the origin of the acquisition, having known from the beginning that these assets came from corruption crimes in the form of bribes committed by Mr. Zarof Ricar,” explained Syarief, during a press conference at the Kejagung Building on Thursday.
All the evidence items have now been seized as part of the TPPU case with suspect Agung Winarno.
Currently, Agung is detained at the Salemba Detention House Branch of the Attorney General’s Office for the next 20 days for investigation purposes.
During the search at his residence in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, investigators also seized money in various currencies totaling nearly Rp 1 trillion, which is suspected to originate from case management.
