Agung Gumelar, a member of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimlar), stated that he is prepared to provide input to President Prabowo Subianto regarding various issues, ranging from politics and economy to culture and community life.

Agum noted that Wantimpres can provide considerations so that the policies adopted by the President are more directed and measurable.

“I believe this is a very good step to improve or provide input for the President’s considerations, so that the President’s actions are more directed and more measurable,” Agum said following the appointment ceremony of Wantimpres at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, on Friday (2/10).

According to him, the scope of input that can be provided is not limited to a single sector. He mentioned that various issues related to national and state life can serve as material for the President’s consideration.

“In all matters related to national and state life. In political matters, economic matters, cultural matters, ideological matters, perhaps community life, sports matters—all matters that can perhaps be used as material for the President’s consideration in taking policies in their respective fields later,” he said.

Agum hopes that Wantimpres can fulfil this role by providing considerations to the President during the policy-making process.
