Agro-tourism attracts Seattle businessmen

SURABAYA, East Java: A number of businessmen from Seattle,
United States, have reportedly expressed interest in investing in
developing agro-tourism here.

Governor Basofi Sudirman said on Tuesday that, the businesses
also wished to export coffee, cocoa, apples, flowers and
vegetables to America, and import their apples and pears to
Indonesia, Antara reported.

Basofi revealed the report after meeting with Steven Crane,
president of the Seattle-Surabaya Sister City program, and a
representative of the U.S. consulate general, Mark C. Eaton.

Crane said that Seattle businesses have agreed to participate
in the Surabaya industrial fair next year, and called on local
