Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero) transported hundreds of holidaymakers in the Mudik Nyaman Bersama 2026 programme to various regions on the islands of Java and Sumatra on 16-17 March 2026, departing from Menara Agrinas Palma, GBK, and GOR Soemantri in Jakarta.

The launch of this free homecoming programme was officiated by the President Director of PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero), Mohammad Abdul Ghani.

“This Mudik Nyaman Bersama programme is a manifestation of our concern to enable the public to return to their hometowns more safely, comfortably, and successfully reunite with their families. This year, we are transporting 400 holidaymakers, a significant increase from the previous year,” said Ghani in an official statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Agrinas provided ten bus units, with destinations including West Java, Yogyakarta, Central Java, Banten, Lampung, South Sumatra, and West Sumatra.

This programme forms part of the BUMN Free Homecoming 2026, which nationally transported 116,688 holidaymakers, surpassing the target of 104,000 participants, supported by 1,541 bus fleets serving more than 200 regencies and cities.

On this occasion, several programme participants expressed their appreciation to PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero).

“Our family would like to thank Agrinas for this programme. The registration process was also very easy and extremely helpful for us,” said Irwan, a holidaymaker from Klaten who participated along with his wife and three children.

Another participant, Kinan, stated that Agrinas’s free homecoming programme was very helpful and hoped for additional routes in future programmes.

“This programme is very helpful because we usually have to queue for train tickets that are hard to get. Hopefully, in the future, the routes and fleets can be expanded,” said Kinan, another participant.

Meanwhile, holidaymaker Akbar Rafi, who is also returning to his hometown in Klaten, Central Java, hoped that the quota for free homecoming programme participants could continue to be increased in the future.

“Alhamdulillah, this programme is very helpful, especially when ticket prices surge. The hope is that the quota can continue to be increased,” said Akbar Rafi.

Through this programme, Agrinas hopes to continue providing tangible benefits to the community and strengthen its commitment to sustainably fulfilling social and environmental responsibilities.

The BUMN Free Homecoming 2026 was attended by Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) along with government officials, TNI, Polri, and BUMN leaders.

Minister AHY expressed his appreciation for the organisation of the free homecoming programme by BUMN as part of collective efforts to assist the public.

“The government extends its thanks and appreciation to BUMN for implementing the free homecoming, as this will certainly reduce the use of private vehicles, especially motorcycles. This demonstrates that the state and government are present to provide the best services to the people,” said Minister AHY.

Meanwhile, the Head of the BUMN Regulatory Agency (BP) Dony Oskaria emphasised that this programme is a tangible manifestation of BUMN’s commitment to providing direct benefits to the community.

“The BUMN Free Homecoming programme is a manifestation of mutual cooperation and BUMN’s care for the community. We want to ensure that the public can undertake their homecoming journey more safely, comfortably, and successfully, while also helping to reduce traffic density during the Eid period,” said Dony.
