PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara (Persero), alongside PT Pertamina (Persero) and PT Pertamina Power Indonesia, has discussed the expansion of an integrated bioenergy development partnership with the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).

The discussions took place during a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Deputy Head of BKPM, Todotua Pasaribu, at the Ministry’s office in Jakarta on Thursday (10/09/202<0xC2>6).

The proposed cooperation covers the entire bioenergy development chain, from upstream to downstream. The scope includes the provision of raw materials, processing facilities, energy infrastructure, logistics and distribution, as well as guaranteed product absorption.

Representing Pertamina at the meeting were the Director of Strategy, Portfolio, and Business Development, Emma Sri Martini, and the President Director of PT Pertamina New & Renewable Energy (PNRE), John Anis, along with members of the management team. Agrinas Palma was represented by President Director Mohammad Abdul Ghani and Business Director Nurhidayat.

Todotua Pasaribu urged that the planned collaboration between these State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) be promptly translated into concrete projects. He noted that such cooperation must provide economic benefits while simultaneously increasing supply chain efficiency and supporting national energy security.

From the upstream perspective, Agrinas Palma believes that its land potential, plantations, production facilities, and raw materials can be synergised with Pertamina’s capabilities in energy development and marketing. Mohammad Abdul Ghani, President Director of Agrinas Palma Nusantara, stated that the company is prepared to play a role in ensuring the sustainable availability of bioenergy raw materials.
