The President Director of Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota, stated that all vehicle procurements have been completed.
“All the vehicles have been procured, a total of 160,000 units,” said Joao when met at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Food, Jakarta, on Tuesday (31/3/2026).
Agrinas is also importing 13,500 four-wheel-drive vehicles from Foton, a company from China.
In addition, there are 13,600 units from Mitsubishi, 10,000 units from Hino, and 900 units from Isuzu. All three brands are from Japan.
“All the vehicles here, if they are 4x4, are fully imported. There are no locally manufactured ones,” Joao remarked.
Joao admitted he did not know the detailed status of the vehicles’ arrival. He suggested checking directly with the manufacturers.
“The 160,000 consists of 13,600 from Japan or Mitsubishi, 10,000 from Hino from Japan, 900 from Isuzu from Japan, 13,000 from Foton from China, and the rest from India,” Joao explained.

Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono stated that the vehicle needs are adjusted to the number of cooperatives being built.
“So that means double, 160,000,” said Ferry at his office on Monday (30/3/2026).
