Agrinas Evaluates Entire System Following KDKMP Employee Salary Issue

Jakarta (ANTARA) — The Chief Executive of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, Joao Mota, said the company is checking its entire operating system and is committed to following up on any data discrepancies after verification, following issues concerning the salary payment process for Red and White Village/Sub-district Cooperative (KDKMP) personnel that have circulated on social media.
“In response to the issue spreading on social media regarding the KDKMP personnel salary process, we wish to express our gratitude for all the attention, input and concern given. The welfare of our personnel is a priority we have never compromised,” Joao wrote on his personal Instagram account, @bung.joaomota, quoted in Jakarta on Saturday.
Joao said the company has been checking its operating systems continuously over the past week.
“Over the past week we have been checking the entire running system. We are committed to ensuring that every data discrepancy is immediately followed up and resolved as quickly as possible after verification. Some have already been resolved, and this process is still ongoing,” he said.
He added that Agrinas continues to work towards the best system to support the management of KDKMP outlets that are already operating, as well as outlets that have been completed so they can begin operations soon.
Currently, Joao said, 1,061 KDKMP outlets are operating in Central Java and East Java.
At the same time, Agrinas is continuing the construction of more than 80,000 KDKMP outlets and warehouses across various regions of Indonesia.
“We continue to strive for the best system for solid results in managing the outlets that are already operating, and preparing the completed outlets so they can begin operations soon,” he said.
“The welfare and rights of the personnel of the Red and White Village/Sub-district Cooperatives at the 1,061 outlets already operating in Central Java and East Java are our priority,” he said.
Earlier, social media was abuzz with posts from several accounts voicing complaints about the management system and the salary payment process for KDKMP employees, which were said to be inconsistent. The posts triggered a variety of responses from netizens.
ANTARA has sought confirmation from the Agrinas Chief Executive and the Deputy Minister of Cooperatives regarding the salary provisions for Red and White Village Cooperative employees, including whether the government has set any particular standards. However, as of the publication of this report, no response has been received.
